National Programme on Technology Enhanced Learning (NPTEL) is a project of MHRD initiated by seven Indian Institutes of Technology (Bombay, Delhi, Kanpur, Kharagpur, Madras, Guwahati and Roorkee) along with the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore with the aim to provide quality education to anyone interested in learning from these prestigious institutions. Online courses are available in all major branches of engineering and physical sciences at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels and management courses at the postgraduate level. Sree Narayana College Cherthala has been established as SWAYAM – NPTEL Local Chapter with Local Chapter ID (LC ID): 5551.Dr. Gopakumar Ramakrishnan, Department of Physics is the single point of contact of the Local Chapter.
