Ph.D. in Zoology

The department of Zoology is an approved research center under the aegis of the University of Kerala since 2007, enabling research scholars to pursue their doctoral degrees. The department is supported by various schemes like DST-FIST, DBT- STAR. The infrastructure in the department was expanded using DST-FIST funding. There are sophisticated research equipment like Autoanalyzer, UV-VIS -Spectrophotometer, PCR, Electrophoretic unit, Rotary evaporator etc. Currently, there are five approved research guides in the department and six research scholars.
