CreatEVE

CreatEVE or Sargasahyanam is a monthly arts and cultural program conducted by Sree Narayana College, Cherthala with the tagline “Let’s make our evenings more creative” or “Varu… Sahyanangal sargathmakamakkam…” An evening of one day every month is dedicated to exhibiting and showcasing the creative talents of students and faculty as well as honouring alumni noted for their creative enterprise. The events take place in the bamboo grove behind the library dubbed as “CreatEVE Space.”

Sree Narayana College, Cherthala is committed to ensuring that no talent of its students goes unnoticed; CreatEVE provides a space for students to explore and further such talents. As a program envisioned to give prominence to folk or traditional art forms, CreatEVE aims to generate more artistic creativity in the post-covid campus.

The program presents a diverse selection of arts and entertainment. Apart from stage items, other talents are also encouraged through different domains of CreatEVE:

CreatEVE Chayapeedika

A food stall is set up and managed by students and faculty on CreatEVE evenings. This endeavour gives an opportunity for the students to explore the culinary expertise as well as business management skills.

CreatEVE Art Corner

A corner in front of the library is dedicated to display the drawings, paintings, sculptures and other artworks made by the students. Apart from such visual arts, skills such as mehendi drawing are also presented in the Art Corner.

CreatEVE Manuscript Magazine

CreatEVE endeavours to publish a manuscript magazine annually to give an outlet to the students’ literary and poetic talents.

CreatEVE Alumstars
