The Incubation Centre
The Incubation centre of the College coordinates various innovative and entrepreneurship activities with the aim to accelerate the growth and success of budding entrepreneurs through an array of business support resources and services that could include physical space, capital, coaching, common services, and networking connections. Previously the college had an incubation cell composed of the following members:
- Dr. Jesny S , Associate Professor in Chemistry (Convener)
- Sri.Shaija P B, Assistant Professor in Chemistry (Member)
- Sri.Babu K. K, Assistant Professor in Commerce (Member)
- Dr.Bindu O Assistant Professor in Zoology(Member)
- Dr.Gopakumar Ramakrishnan,Assistant Professor in Physics (Member).
During June 2022, Incubation cell was transformed into an Incubation Centre, which is a unique and highly flexible combination of innovative business development processes, infrastructure and people, designed to nurture new and small businesses by helping them to survive and grow through the difficult and vulnerable early stages of development.
Currently Sree Narayana College Incubation centre monitors various programmes like the Project Papyrus (an eco-friendly handmade paper-making initiative from the waste papers generated in the campus), organic farming where organic vegetables without using any chemical fertilisers and pesticides are cultivated, manufacturing hand sanitizers, soaps and dishwash liquids, Hydroponics of lettuce (soil-less method of growing plants), production of value added fish products, Mushroom Cultivation and Marketing, production of Vermi Compost etc. The Incubation Cell of the College is definitely a space for new-age entrepreneurs and young minds to transform their innovative ideas into viable business propositions.
