ABOUT IQAC

IQAC has been established in the college in 2004 for the sustenance of quality in the Institution. It is a nodal centre dedicated to improving quality by implementing a systematic improvement plan for all aspects of the institution’s functioning. It works closely with the faculty members to plan out the best possible strategies for the overall development of the institution. As part of providing quality education, IQAC of the college adopts innovative teaching-learning methods to support the institution throughout its teaching-learning journey. 

Functions of IQAC

  • Setting quality benchmarks for various academic and administrative activities of the college.
  • Create a student-centric teaching – learning environment.
  • Organize seminars, workshops, and orientation programmes for quality education environment.
  • Organize skill enhancement sessions for teaching and non–teaching staff.
  • To promote and encourage research activities.
  • Collect and analyze feedback from various stakeholders on quality-related issues to improve the functioning of the college.
  • Documentation of activities and achievements of the college.
  • Coordinates the preparation of the Annual Quality Assurance Report (AQAR).
  • Takes initiatives to track gender balance, eco-friendly practices, and compilation of various policies in the institution.
  • Takes initiatives to inculcate social commitment and entrepreneurial culture among the students.
